 >  Congress INACOM: Vsat Systems

 

 

From July 11 to 15, 11 took place at Skyna Hotel in Luanda, Angola, the seminar about VSAT Systems sponsored by the INACOM (Angolan Institute of Communications) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union).

The Chairman of the Board of Directors INACOM Mr. Eng.º Pedro Mendes de Carvalho attended the seminar and Mr. Eng Elso Pinto led the Congress, as the keynote speaker training.

Furthermore regulator INACOM were presents the largest companies and institutions making use of VSAT systems for their activities as INAVIC (National Institute of Civil Aviation), the FAA (Angolan Armed Forces), Air Force and maritime Angola and other large private sector companies. 

GLOBALTELESAT also attended the seminar and its commercial department was represented by Mr. Paulo Coito and technical director Vsat Mr. Ivan Pizarro, who actively participated in the conference on the encapsulation of information and its transmission through VSAT and contributing to their mediations to animate and enrich the debate on the subject.


 

 

 

> II Internet Mediterranean Congress

 

 

July 7-9 in Alicante (Spain), took take place the2d Internet  Mediterranean Congress.

Laure Gathy, head of the development of new business attended this organized by the Institution of ESTIC Fairs and Alicante.

 

During these three days, Alicante became the international capital of Internet and meeting point for all the professionals and companies interested in the latest strategies that allow them improving its presence on Internet networks with the best efficiency.

True to its image, the C Internet  Mediterranean Congress  is not just a forum of network professionals for network professionals, but also an opportunity for companies to discover how the new technologies can support them to be more competitive, to increase sales quality and  sales quantity, for each type of business activity.

Important topics covered during the seminar were as follows:
• Online Marketing: SEO, SEM, social networks, Virtual Marketing, Web analysis, corporate image ...
• E-commerce: development platform, means of payment, logistics, membership ...

Our company made the first ever intercontinental link between Africa and Europe with wireless technology, over 36km of land and water, providing internet service to the Moroccan city of Tangier from a satellite station at Guzmán el Bueno Castle in Tarifa (Cadiz, Spain). The link was maintained for the duration of the Transacciones/Fadaiat event, June 2004.
